Derrick had just exited the liquor store with a fresh fifth of Paul Masson brandy when the patrol car pulled up next to him. He looked to his right, and saw the two familiar faces, but he kept on walking. He didn't want another beat-down from officers Franklin and Greene. Once had been enough.

“Why are you walking so fast Derrick?” Lionel asked. “You don't know how to speak?”

Derrick didn't say anything. He just kept stepping, hoping he could make it home without incident.

“Boy, you better say something before you make me pull this car over and do something I know you won't like.”

“Man, what the fuck do you want?” Derrick finally asked. “I told Keisha she was wrong. That's all I could do.” The car screeched to a stop in front of him just as he was turning the corner that led to his mother's house. Both officers jumped out and instantly, Derrick knew that he was in worse trouble than he had been in the first time.

“Who the hell do you think you're talking to in that tone of voice?” Lionel asked. “You got me fucked up!” He went to Derrick and stopped him. The house they were in front of was abandoned and no one else on the street was out. “Put your fuckin’ hands up and spread your legs. Put that bag on the ground.”

Trent reached down and picked back up. “Paul Masson?” He exclaimed. “We don't do the cheap stuff, dear.”

Derrick wasn't sure, but he could've sworn he heard Officer Greene call him dear while Officer Franklin frisked him a little too thoroughly as far as he was concerned. Officer Franklin had touched him all the way up to his balls, and then gave out a little jester when he touched Derrick’s dick. “I ain't done nothin’, man!” Derrick yelled.

“What it feel like Lionel? Was I just imagining last time or what?” Trent asked. The last time they had gotten Derrick he had been the one doing the frisking and he'd gotten excited when he brushed across Derrick's package.

“No, you weren’t imagining. He got a snake settled in his jeans,” Lionel said and handcuffed Derrick. “Come on Mr. Daniels, were about to take you on a little ride.” He looked around to make sure no one was watching and then they put Derrick in the back of the cruiser and slammed the door on him. The two officers hopped back into the car and took off. “He might be a fighter. I can't wait to tame his ass once and for all,” Lionel said as they drove off.

“I bet them bitches will think before they open their mouths next time. And, your boy should be thanking you after this. You're a bigger lady than me, because I would never let my boo go to the other side.”

“Shit, he ain't going nowhere. This is all part of my plan. You'll see it all come together.”

They took Derrick to the warehouse district, because Trent had a key to an old building that had been raided for storing drugs earlier that week.
